OHIM report on “Infringements of intellectual property rights on the internet” published

The report, based on the outcomes of a conference on infringements of intellectual property rights on the internet that took place from 5 to 7 November 2014 in Alicante, has just been released. The conference which was co-hosted by OHIM, through the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights, Europol and Eurojust, aimed at exchanging ideas and discussing how IP and the internet can be mutually beneficial to consumers and legitimate businesses, and what models and best practices can be developed to foster this balance and further combat counterfeiting and piracy.
